Conference- ENERGY, INTENT, and HEALING
ISSSEEM Conference - June 19-26, 2008
Early Registration begins March 1st, 2008
Thank you for the 2008 submissions. They are in the
review process.
Keynote Presenters:
Donna Eden
Donna Eden is among the world’s leading authorities on energy
healing. She has treated over 10,000 clients and taught hundreds of
classes worldwide. She is cofounder, with her husband, David
Feinstein, of the nonprofit Energy Medicine Institute in Ashland,
Oregon. www.energymed.org
Larry Dossey
This tall and distinguished Texas physician, deeply rooted in the
scientific world, has become an internationally influential advocate
of the role of the mind in health and the role of spirituality in
healthcare. Bringing the experience of a practicing internist and
the soul of a poet to the discourse, Dr. Larry Dossey offers
panoramic insight into the nature and the future of medicine.
General Speakers:
Dean Radin
Dean Radin is senior scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences
(IONS). He earned a BSEE magna cum laude in electrical engineering
from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and both an MS in
electrical engineering and a PhD in psychology from the University
of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. For ten years, he was a member of the
technical staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories and later a principal
scientist at GTE Laboratories, where he was engaged in R&D on a wide
variety of advanced telecommunications products and systems. For
fifteen years, he has conducted experimental studies of psi
phenomena in academia and industry, including appointments at
Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, University of Nevada,
and SRI International, the latter as a visiting scientist on a
classified program of psi research. Before joining IONS, he
cofounded the Boundary Institute and was in charge of a psi research
program at Interval Research Corporation in Palo Alto, California.
Gary Craig
Gary Craig is the founder of EFT, and has been intensely interested
in personal improvement via psychology since age 13. That was when
he recognized that the quality of his thoughts were mirrored in the
quality of life. Since then he has been self taught in the field,
seeking only those procedures that, in his opinion, produced
results. EFT is his latest finding, the core of which was learned
from Dr. Roger Callahan. He also has high regard for Neuro
Linguistic Programming (NLP), in which he is a Certified Master
Practitioner.
Conference Theme - Energy
Scientific studies have increasingly demonstrated the power of
intention as a unique determinant of outcome. The influence of
intention is perhaps greater in the field of medicine and health
than in any other aspect of science; and healing is ultimately the
result of the intent of individuals, groups, healers, physicians and
the entire community. As Sir William Osler stated over one hundred
years ago, “Far more important than what the physician does, is the
belief of the physician and the belief of the patient.” Intent is
the focus of that belief.
The 2008 ISSSEEM Conference presents the latest practical
application of these critical aspects of consciousness and healing:
| - Prayer and Meditation |
- Belief |
| - Values |
- Will |
| - Intent |
- Energetic imprinting |
"Thinking sets in motion spiritual forces to bring about changes
in environment, body, mind, companions, hopes and despairs.”
-Ambrose Worrall, 1952
ISSSEEM conferences are developed from a combination of invited
speakers and proposals from our members that synergistically explore
or illustrate the theme. For information on ISSSEEM past themes,

Welcome!
The Tenth International Conference on Science and Consciousness
will be held March 28 - April 2, 2008,
in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
The exploration of consciousness remains the new frontier of scientific inquiry. Physicists, medical researchers, psychologists, anthropologists, shamans, healers, meditators have all experienced phenomenon which cannot be explained under the old scientific paradigm.
This conference brings together a multi-disciplinary team of experts in the field of consciousness who will share their knowledge through lecture, discussion and experiential sessions.
The
White Buffalo Day Retreat is a one-day pre-conference retreat where you will meet Beau, the only non-albino white buffalo on the planet.

March 28 2008
At some point in history, a split occurred and we ended up with Science and Religion. Science limited its study to the material world and the Church took charge of the metaphysical realms. Now, with science studying consciousness, we are ready to reintegrate Spirituality and Science. In 1999 we launched the first International Conference on Science and Consciousness, and this unique conference continues as a forum for the exploration of consciousness from both the scientific and spiritual perspectives.

Intense conversation takes place among leading thinkers Russell Targ, physicist and co-founder Stanford University's Remote Viewing Program, Matthew Gilbert, Editor of Institute of Noetic Science's magazine Shift, and James O'Dea, President of Institute of Noetic Sciences. |
Jeffrey Mishlove, President of the Intuition Network and host of Public Television’s “Thinking Allowed” said, “There has been a tendency for conferences that have the name science in the title to be very much in the head, and to have a kind of competitive edge, which scientists often have. But this event was very whole, very heart-centered and very much needed by our culture at this time.”
Our host facility for this amazing event is the historic La Fonda Hotel right on the plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Author of The I That Is We,
and The Mandala of Being, Richard Moss engages in conversation with one of the attendees. |
